There are a range of wedding suppliers of every type and most would undoubtedly do an amazing job for you! But when making the decision of who to work with, particularly when it comes to one you’ll be working so closely with, it’s really important to choose someone who you really click with. We’re big believers in that feeling of something being right. And it’s a lot like deciding who to marry - when you know, you know! But in all cases, ask as many questions as you need to and check the T&Cs before proceeding!

Absolutely not! We are insistent on your wedding being a reflection of you and this is non-negotiable. We will never push you into using suppliers you don’t like, go against anything in your plan without consulting you (even for good reason!) or try to make style decisions on your behalf, unless you’ve asked us to. Needless to say your budget will also be managed carefully ensuring no over-spend unless you have explicitly requested this. We take great pride in making each wedding unique to the couple getting married.

Full, end to end wedding planning services are priced at 10% of your total budget, with a minimum fee of £4000. This is to ensure that the many painstaking hours that go into making your day absolutely perfect are fairly remunerated. It’s a common misconception that smaller weddings are less work. They require the same amount of suppliers and time in dealing with them. It’s true that on the day co-ordination can be a little easier for smaller weddings and that’s why our standalone on the day co-ordination fees work differently and are quoted in accordance with the scale and type of wedding.

In all of our wedding planning packages we include at the very minimum an initial consultation, accompanied venue viewings, wedding rehearsal attendance and a final meeting prior to the big day. Meetings in between will be arranged as and when necessary but these may on occasion be remote. We are not always available at short notice due to other event commitments but emergencies will be dealt with according to the level of urgency and we are always just a phonecall or email away!

No, we never work on commissions - we are totally unbiased and objective in our recommendations, preferring where possible, to work with suppliers that we know we can trust. Occasionally we are offered discounts from regular suppliers and if you choose to use these suppliers, the discounts are passed on to you.

Yes! For some services it will be necessary to present options, particularly if there is a difference in price or what they’re able to provide (venues for example). However for some services, if we feel we have sourced the perfect supplier for something very specific we’ll start there and you can decide whether or not you’re happy to use them. Bear in mind that we’ll have a good idea of which suppliers will be best for your wedding, based on our experience. But you are welcome to turn down any recommendations if you’re not comfortable for any reason and we’ll source an alternative.

Of course! Travel to wedding destinations outside of the East Midlands (whether for scoping, meetings or the wedding itself) will incur additional travel and accommodation expenses, but you can absolutely take us with you! Please make this clear at the point of booking so we can diarise accordingly as extra time will be needed to facilitate your planning and co-ordination. We can also agree expenses and arrangements for travel early in the planning process.

We’ve organised weddings of all shapes, sizes and types, covering multiple religions, secular and civil ceremonies and those with revered cultural and time honoured traditions and this is what makes our job so exciting! We love the uniqueness of people’s weddings and the vibrancy that weddings of different cultures and ethnicities brings. We’ll take the time to understand your background, cultural traditions and how these will impact and shape the wedding itself and we will embrace them as if they were our own, making sure your big day is truly a reflection of your beliefs and identity.

We work on ALL weddings and recognise that love is not defined by identity or sexuality. We would be delighted to work with you in organising your same sex wedding. Our approach is to provide a relaxed and comfortable environment for all couples to be able to enjoy the lead up to their special day. We can work with you to tailor your ceremony in any way you wish. Working with us may also help to remove some of the awkwardness of sourcing LGBTQ+ friendly suppliers and if you are worried about explaining yourself when making enquiries, we can do this on your behalf, leaving you to get immersed in the enjoyable parts of planning your wedding.
